KLA BRHS Collaboration
KLA BRHS Collaboration
KLA BRHS Collaboration
Posted on 01/28/2022
This week, The Kuskokwim Learning Academy wants to shout out and thank Principal Miner, Mr. Calvetti, and Mr. Carlson. They have opened their school and classrooms to our students giving them opportunities they would not otherwise have at KLA.
Mr. Calvetti has taken 4 of our young people into his JROTC class. He is teaching them discipline and structure. He is introducing them to a life and career in the military. We humbly thank Mr. Calvetti for allowing our students to be a part of his class.
Mr. Carlson has taken in 5 of our young people into his band class. He is teaching them to read music! How amazing is that? They are learning to play the guitar and piano AND READ MUSIC. We hope there is a spring concert on the horizon.
Again, thank you so much to the leadership and staff at BRHS for giving our students this amazing opportunity! QUYANA!
