KLA at Byron Nicholai Concert

Southwest Alaska Group (SWAG) hosts the Byron Nicholai concert at the Cultural Center and guess who was there... KLA!!!!
Byron Nicholai is from Toksook Bay. He is a strong advocate for Alaska Native culture and language. He began singing and uploading videos to Facebook in 2014. His songs were in Yugtun exposing the world to his culture and language. Byron has performed in Washington, DC, New Zealand, Australia, and so much more. He still makes time to perform for his YK Delta family on Saturday, April 30th. The students and staff of the Kuskokwim Learning Academy enjoyed their night out on the town listening to Byron and eating ice cream afterwards.
